Step 1: Letter Names
- Ask your student to read the 26 uppercase and lowercase letters as they appear on the screen.
- Say to the student: I am going to show you some letters. Tell me the names of the letters you know.
- If the student names the letter correctly, click the correct button.
- If the student names the letter incorrectly or does not know it, click the incorrect button.

With two devices, ensure the student`s assessment is in Student Mode and the teacher is in Teacher Mode. This provides a distraction free experience for the student, and allows the teacher to control the assessment from their own device.
